I’m thankful to have grown up in a Christian home. At the age of seven, I accepted Christ as my personal Savior. I received my undergraduate degree from Bob Jones University and following graduation in 1987, I married my high school sweetheart, Kim, who also graduated from BJU with a degree in Elementary Education. Kim currently teaches in Kernersville, and we have three wonderful children: Meagan (who was married in 2011), Tyler and Maddie. I received my Master’s in Children Ministry from Carolina Evangelical Divinity School in May 2007. I also serve as adjunct professor of children’s ministry at Piedmont International University. I’ve been involved in children’s ministry for over 20 years, and thank God every day for my calling. I also serve as Executive Pastor of ministries at Triad, and thank God for this wonderful place, where I’ve had the privilege to serve since 1994.
