Outdoor Writer to Speak at Triad Baptist Church

Calling all hunters and outdoor enthusiasts! On Saturday, September 29th, Triad will host its first ever "Sportsmen's Day" starting at 9:00 am to about 3:00 pm. This will be a very exciting day filled with nine workshops led by professionals on a wide array of hunting topics.

This will be a family friendly event, so you can bring the whole family! Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for kids under 16.

Attendees can choose two of nine workshops, visit vendors, enjoy a mid-day buffet, and have opportunity to win door prizes valued over $1800.

Outdoor writer Steve Sorensen will be speaking on Double Trouble in Alaska. Sorensen’s presentation features engaging slides and video that tell the story of how two rookies accomplished a highly successful do-it-yourself moose hunting adventure in remote Alaska, which was chronicled in two leading national outdoor magazines.
